Jan, I think you've got it. He is indeed framed in the centre of the photo, above the rock, between the two vertical thicker brownish stems and below the curving red stem. His little head is looking left. He certainly blends in well with his environment!
OK, MICHELLE - Is he just above the rock, above the "turquoise-y leaf pointing to the right....pretty much in the center of the puzzle? If not, I give up completely! LOL

Hi topcat. I hate to disappoint you but that little striped fellow is a chipmunk. He blends in very well with his back striping. Yet another "wild" animal living rent-free at the Toronto Zoo.
There's a fish under the curved red line and between the two vertical brown lines - almost dab center of the puzzle. I had to put it together to find it; the eye gave it away.
