Great photo, Nana. The apples are ripe when they turn yellow. They taste a little like lemonade, BUT, eating more than one is a good way to get to sit in the bathroom for a while. They can really make you leave the woods in a hurry! :-0

anitas, that sounds wonderful. I remember "tramping" (my mom's word) through the woods with my dad. He knew the name of everything...wish I could remember them now. Those are great memories!

Very nice. When we were children, our father would take us to the woods and we would search for these and the other woods flowers.
