The Pelorus River is a river at the northern end of South Island of New Zealand in the region of Marlborough. It flows from the Richmond Range into Pelorus Sound. This area is fantastic for camping and is renowned for its magnificent river swimming where the Pelorus River runs through a gorge.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. I knew it was New Zealand based on your description. What I should have said was that your photo reminded me of California's climate, and it made me realize why so many plants from New Zealand, several of which I have in my yard, probably do well in California. Again, it's a lovely spot.

Maybe it look like California, but it's NZ.It's my own photo.

Forgive my limited frame of reference, but this looks like it could be in several parts of California. Lovely. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and...last one in's a rotten egg!
