Windows in our family room are at ground level.

Photo quality is not the best, through the inside window, screen and storm window. After feasting under our bird feeders, one decided to stroll past one of our windows. In the upper L you can see an eye in the lower left corner. In the upper r it looks like it is using the ostrich technique - "now you can't see me." In the lower picture it has turned and stretched its neck for a better look inside the room.

Yes, I would much prefer turkeys....

We had a skunk strolling by this window about 3 or 4 years ago. I am much happier with turkeys. : )

Megabelle, they are wild.

However I suspect they are coming into our yard because some of their habitat, a bit north and west of us, was recently developed.

I have never seen such brazen turkeys.....are they domestic or wild???
