It is always a good thing when others have our backs. Hopefully no harm done and I didn't mind at all straightening things out.

I love the way you combine your colors, textures and patterns. I agree that a standard quilt block style may look similar in style to others.

Kathy, Thanks very much for replying. (I put this comment on Gail's puzzle also.)

As you say this is a standard quilt block style and the puzzles look similar just by coincidence. They are really quite different. I actually drew the template for our puzzles in GIMP based on a picture from the internet: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/157485318193764021/

I think Janetsuter was just being a little over zealous in her "accusation"! No harm done :)

Jill, thanks for letting me know about the mix-up!!! Wish I had seen your comment right after you posted it, but I have been trying to catch up on replying to comments and this was the last comment I came across.

Gail's puzzle is MUCH different than mine. Her puzzle is extremely creative and original too. I sincerely hope that no accusations will continue and will leave a message on her puzzle.

A funny thing happened. The other day while making one of my 100 tile puzzles and going back through some of my earlier puzzles, I came across the above puzzle and could not recall if I had ever posted it before, so I posted it. I didn't bother to check back through all of my pages to see if I had posted it before until just a few minutes ago after reading your comment. So I began looking back in past puzzles I had posted and did indeed find the original posting, with a slight difference from the above. I found it here:

http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=B985EJJ8

It was posted on Feb. 23, 2014.

Again, let me say that Gail's puzzle should not be confused with either of my postings on April 8, 2015 or Feb. 23, 2014. Also let me clarify that the template that I used for the above puzzle was one I found on the internet that was free to use by anyone. However, as of late, I have learned to make many of my own templates. Like the one I posted just today.

Let me go see if I can clarify things so that Gail will not be accused and that the bare similarity is simply coincidental........

This is lovely, Kathy! Thanks :)

Unfortunately, Gail is being accused of copying your work. Her puzzle looks similar, but it is based on a template made for a puzzle I posted on April 7th. The similarity to yours is coincidental.

Gail's puzzle is here:

She also posted one using the same template on April 8th.
My puzzle using the same template is here:
