Maybe in the case, a Little Yellow. Speaking of Big Yellow, just heard on the news last night that Cat is going to do a 600 million dollar renovation project on two local plants...the East Peoria and Mossville plants...going to re-create more jobs again which will help the local economy. But an interview with the the CEO said that Cat has thousands of engineering positions within the company and are always looking to recruit more to fill the vacancies of retirement and encouraged young people with math and science aptitudes to persue engineering degrees....as there will be many openings upcoming in that field and within the company. Cat is doing extremely well in this bad economy...they are number one in their industry and they are ranked #44 in the Fortune 500 companies. All this sounds encouraging to the local economy here. Doubtful that they will ever hire back the many thousands that they have laid off in the past two decades but now that they they have the UAW back under control...it is still good news that CAT is still investing alot of money to keep producing tractors here locally. And even more in the future when the renovation project is complete in 2016. Any news like that is good news, these days. Perhaps you heard it on WEEK last night as well. Sorry if this is a rerun for you, grgrma!
Yes, some people have barns for their hay, some people have barns for their horses and dairy cows. And some people in Peoria county have barns for their CATS. This is CAT country, ya know.
