This is Litchfield Larry. It's not the clearest shot. I took the photo in that split second he paused from walking. Taken Wed, June 12, 2013 at Walton Park in Litchfield, IL.

Aww, Laura, he's so cute!

Patsquire, I saw Ardmore Archie when I was watching the Open this afternoon. He was scooting pretty fast down the fairway.

Hi Laurajane! Thank you for the wonderful picture of Larry the groundhog!!!

What are the light grey spots on his flanks, LJ? They look like flies. Otherwise, he's a handsome fella!

Litchfield larry doesn't look happy to be having his photo taken.

Thanks morris and patsquire! Ardmore Archie? I bet he's related to Litchfield Larry, here. They have that same underbite.

patsquire

They showed a nice shot of his cousin Ardmore Archie today during the U.S. Open being played at Merion Golf Club outside Philadelphia. He was doing his best to nibble down the long rough. Nice to see nature trying to help out the golfers!

Still a fine shot, Laura!!
