Silk Ties!! ~ Large

Thanks Gail!! That bottom left, did have a really nice pattern in between the "petals". And I did make another kaleido which showed that other pattern more. But this one seemed to "hang better" with the other three, so I chose it instead. But the other tie kaleidos that I made will all make an appearance as well, eventually. I don't like repeating the subject too quickly. I prefer to mix it up, and have lots of different things - subjects, colour ranges etc. Anyway. Blah, blah, blah. Time to stop talking. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, Gail. :))) And I'll pop over to your place shortly and see what you've been up to.

These are all gorgeous, Kirsten. I love the 3D effect. The bottom left looks like the main motif is behind the border, kind of like in a shadow box. I love the richness of color, sheen and detai. Sigh:)

A lovely way to start a busy week :)) I'm sure these kaleidos are much more beautiful than the actual ties. I loved the upper right one with its nearly black and white patterns.
