Feral Neko enjoys her whipped cream indoors.

She is becoming less feral with time. For the first few weeks, all I ever saw was the black tip of a tail disappearing into the night when the security light flicked on. Had hopes of taming her after her capture for spaying, but it became apparent she was actually nursing kittens at the time, so she was released to go back to them. It has been a long process since then, but now she talks and will let me pet her. I'm pretty sure I heard a purr recently, too...

Is Neko really a feral? She is certainly a very beautiful cat.

She ate most of it, then went outside to sit on the step and ignore me with her back turned, as if to say "No more photos today". Of course, she licked the bowl clean when I finally gave up and put it outside.
