Thank you, Jiggy & Silver. Yes, it's delightful to see them each year.
Lovely Tex. And I bet that when you unwrap them each year it is like re-discovering your old friends! That's how I feel when I get out the old family tree ornaments.
What a wonderful thing to do.....full of memories! Thanks for sharing them, Tex!
Thank you, Celeste! I think so.
Very awesome :)
Yes, they are, Morris, the most precious of memories. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you, Lyndee. Maybe you should've saved some of the construction paper garlands, remember those?
How great that you still have these. (it was pretty hard for me to save strings of popcorn!) LOL
Thanks, everyone for enjoying my keepsakes with me. Some things I never get tired of, and these ornaments are some of it!
My but these look familiar. I don't recall now if we had these on the tree when I was growing up, but I do know I saw them in the 50's. Thanks. ; ) I have some ornaments from my husband's mother, and I think the only thing I have from the tree in my family is a little plastic red boot.
what a great thing as memories to have and share
What priceless treasures, tex. Thank you for sharing them with us.
What a sweet thing to do, Sis. Yours look a lot better than my old ones, but I wouldn't take anything for them. Thanks for sharing!

That's the way Tex, really enjoyed your treasures tonight, thanks for showing.
I do lovingly wrap them each year in tissue paper and then lay them on cotton in a metal box. Thanks, Chooks!
Take great care of them, tex - they sound very special to you!
