I found this acorn Tuesday at my Mothers grave laying next to the stone. It was sprouting. So I brought it home and planted in the planter with my hibiscus tree.
Graciela you are very welcome.. So glad it did.. Hugs Tex I know I was supposed to find it... I have never seen anything prout unless it something around it. tis was just lying on top of the ground at the corner of the marker. It was so unusual and the feeling I got when I picked it up. No one would ever believe. I knew she want me to have it. Just like your Easter lily blooms when it does... Some people don't believe in things happening but believe me I do... Thanks so much for stopping by and telling me your story... I will keep everyone posted on how it does...
Pat, you were supposed to find that acorn! I have an Easter lily which blooms almost every year on Mother's Day, even though that doesn't fall on the same day every year. Explain that to me! I've always thought that's her smiling at me. When I was a child, she told me that when a flower blooms, it's God smiling at you, and that's why I always know that's her sending smiles! So plant, water, till, tend that acorn and your Mom will make it grow for you!
Katie I thought how amazing as my mother could take a plant that everyone thought was dead and bring it back to life... Punkin I kind of thought you were really busy... I know when you work there are other things that come first.. So glad you enjoyed the card and I was supposed to find that acorn I really believe that. Love you Pat
Pat-Thank you for the ecard! It's just wonderful! I have been really busy with work lately, and not lots of time to solve or post puzzles. Know that I am thinking of you, though! Happy Valentine's Day to you! Suzy PS...from little acorns, bit things grow :)
If I get it to grow I am going to name it after my mother her name was Carrie...will keep you updated . Thanks Lorna - Jan - Fran - Gnt you all are the best..
I am only going to leave it there until I can plant it this spring. Yes it will be interesting... It's funny how I found it. I took new spring flowers to her grave and was cleaning the stone off so I could take a picture for my brother. And there it was..
Great oaks from little acorns grow. Your hibiscus is likely to get pushed right out of its pot. It will be interesting to see what happens. Hope you'll photograph and share its progress - if it makes any. Thanks, Pat.
