The porch isn't facing the lake because the cabin only has one door, and both to make it visually appealing and to ease loading, it faces the parking area. The cabin, narrow as it is, probably has two small bedrooms at the back, and no room for a door. But it's nice to have a kitchen, a real bed and some comfy chairs - not to mention some space when the weather is bad.
The 14th it is~!
Sounds like fun, see you all on the 14th.
Nice - see you there!
That would make a great place for Jigidi get-to-gether.
Morris, on Oct, 15 all the camping areas close here. Yes, Pattil let's meet on the 14th and drive them crazy! I am glad you enjoy your FL weather, Tincan! You can have the heat and humidity! Hee hee.Yes, Pat and Warbler it is new and it looks very clean. I wouldn't mind a stay in it at all. Don, You are right. Why isn't the porch facing the lake??Well, we can only hope, Fodus. It definitley looks like fun, Chickie! It's my idea of camping. Yes, Robyn...infinitely more appealing than a tent. I wonder if it has a jacuzzi. Only kidding.
Now that's much more appealing than a tent:)))
Oh how fun Laura.
Maybe there are windows out the back.
I suspect this is a pre-fab. I've seen them at camping shows; nice-looking, well-laid-out, and easily installed. Just the thing for rentals - although the plumbing, as lyndee points out, is a potential issue. The other thing is the porch - it's nowhere near big enough, and it should face the lake!
Nice and clean looking....
Nice and new and clean!!!
Well if we split the cost between us, it couldn't be much! Meet you all on the 14th? :)
If it is like Northern New York where I was from. Winter, cold weather, freezing rain. The reason I live in Florida now
What happens on Oct. 15?
Oh, I never thought of that, Lyndee. Good point!
Check and see if they have indoor plumbing too Laura.......that would be very important. :)
I have no idea, Morris, but you can bet there's no camping there at the lake after Oct 15. I had never seen this cabin before, Humm. There are about 4 of these in a row at Lake Lou Yaeger, too. Something new, I imagine.I will have to investigate, Marmar. I am curious as to the price.
That was my first thought, Morris. Thanks for sharing, Laurajane.
Love it!!!! Peaceful and woodsy. Hope the people who host it, does well with it :-)
