Hi, Jan: You've got my work cut out for me! I was downtown again today and kept looking around with "fresh" eyes and seeing so many beautiful architectural vignettes that I could have a full time job just snapping them. I'll have to start carrying my camera with me...(my cell phone quality is just so-so). Keep smiling and enjoying life! This has added such a fun dimension to doing the puzzles. Greetings Maggie from Bonnie (aka your adoptive Mom?), Meara & Darcy (perforce, your adopted sibs).
This is another beautiful angle. I can't tell you how much I smile when I think of Detective Michelle, (AKA "Border Collie Emeritus") scouting this out. What a wonderful building AND a wonderful story!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!
I think you're right - that photographer got it perfectly at the height of the fall season. I think next year you must bring your camera at the very best autumn week and snap those wonderful buildings all around campus. It would be a magnificent photo series!!!
Hi, Jan...Found this view on the web. The original close up shot of the windows beside the central main entrance tower are very difficult to discern from this angle. The photographer had a good eye for detail of a small portion of the building when the ivy was at its autumn best. Michelle (btw: just realized I share persistence in common with the BC's! lol Which came first?)
