Thank you Ank. Yes, that's right. It's a boat but it looks like a tank !! It takes people, bicycles, baby carriages, luggage on wheels etc but not cars. If we drive to Vancouver we cross the Lions Gate Bridge or the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge.

Thank you Carol and Jim. Yes, it is a rather typical scene. But the weather changes so quickly. When I got to Vancouver - a 12 minute ride - the rain had stopped.
