Thanks so much, Mandy, Edie, Lela, roseheather, whatnauts, Jan, Katie, Lesley, and Rosie! Sorry I wasn't around much yesterday--still not feeling tip-top today, either--but I do appreciate your remarks. And I agree that the texture is what makes it, and, as long as we try to clean up after ourselves, we'll stay out of trouble...! :-)))

The sand texture combined with this color palate is so enjoyable. It may be messy but we can all just blow on the puzzle when we are done solving it and Marcus will never have to know how messy we were. More of these please.....

carthill

Lovely texture and colours on this one Pat.

buckeye425

The texture is stupendous Pat! Thanks for this groovy design!

Oooooooo nice one, Pat

whatnauts

Wow, this is fantastic. I love the sandy, glittery look of this. Thanks, PD.

roseheather

Lovely.

There was a sand painting, in a bottle, on Antiques Road Show, and this is reminding me of that.

I've got sand everywhere!..(if you know what I mean).....Luckily I had on my bathing trunks........I must say though, that this is a very nice effect!.......

This was fun Pat. I almost feel like touching to screen so I can feel the grit. Couldn't seem to find a rhythm here and ended up at 3:22. Will try again to see if I can make the board. Not sure how Mandy did it so fast. She must have some kind of magic puzzle by numbers technique. Thanks

Pat, this is superb!!! I spotted it soon after you posted it, but I was on my phone at the time, and it's such a chore trying to type comments, let alone solve anything from it, that I had to content myself with bookmarking it only!! I'll try not to make a mess :~)

Shhhhh!!!! Magnus hasn't seen this yet! LOL! I'm sure it will get very messy, especially when a certain someone, who tends to dislodge mosaic tiles and get gum stuck on his shoes--and who likes to zoom puzzles, because this one definitely is one that glitters when it zooms!--gets here...!!!Thanks, Wendy and Ardy--I thought that this might be a little dark, but I did like the texture it had. I'm glad you thought it was dandy/sandy! :-)))

ringleader

Love this, Pat. The colors are so nice and the texture sure looks d\sandy to me. Thank you for another presentation of variation on a swirl.

Wendy_13

Pat, that's the absolutely perfect name for this. How did you get Magnus to allow you to use sand on the puzzle? I would think it would be a mess, especially after a lot of people have solved this. Sand must be flying everywhere.
