I've been to Gibraltar... twice!! My Dad grew up there, and lived in a house called Tankerville, we couldn't find it when we took him for a trip down Memory Lane. We did find the Royal Yacht Club where he used to sail. It's an amazing place.... and I could post a card home to the UK for the same price stamp... as its a UK colony.. I would love to explore it more one day, the history is amazing!!! Now Wendy, I'm going to solve your beautiful puzzle... thanks :~))))
fileusa, that would be fantastic! I'd love to see more pictures....and I think you'll have some fun posting them. There are probably some people who have been there before. :-)
fileusa, I'm even later....so even more slow. ;-) Yes, those photos are great. I just skimmed through this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibraltar I'm kind of amazed that I never thought it was a 'real' place, and now I know I'm wrong.
Hi, just seen your comment. Sorry, I'm a bit slow. Yes, my friend went off to Iceland and send some photos to me by email. Were'nt they just great. especially the lake. I myself, am from Gibraltar, Europe . The little peninsular at the end of southern spain. (if you look at a map of spain, we are the little dot at the end). But we are a British colony.
Oh, it's a friend of yours that went to Iceland on a holiday. That one puzzle is just gorgeous with the orange sunset ("Pingvallavaten Lake, Iceland").
