The lines look like pick-up sticks, when you step back and look at it. They are definitely pleasing to the eye. I like the effect very much! Thanks so much, Pat.

That's exactly what the title refers too! I normally connect the lines to the sides of the rectangle, or at least to each other, but I wanted it to be a little off-beat this time, and made some of them stop before they got there. I like the effect myself--thanks!
