That's entirely correct, Ank :-) I used to have an American friend (87th Infantry Division) veteran. In his name, I adopted two graves from brothers in Arms of his. Not anymore though. My friend passed away some 10 years ago.

Out of respect for the dead has the Dutch Government the grounds of this cemetery officially transferred to America. The soldiers are so on American territory.
