Mr. Bugosi, you should have leaned on Mandy....or at least held her hand so that she could guide you through the fog.

I was so pleased when I started doing this puzzle, the fog cleared just long enough for me to see where to place the pieces - thanks Wendy.

Francine, he will adapt eventually. At least he's going to be much better than before.

What I didn't mention is that it'll be a compromise. No more running around in fenced backyard - on a leash only - and no more jumping on furniture.

Oh sorry, forgot to tell you. Pepper is walking and standing...:-)
[and doing his business outdoors]
~ We're still exercising him and watching him so that he doesn't injure himself. He falls often and his left foot still knuckles often while standing or walking, which is bad. But, he's improving and he's happy and is eating...and is with us.
