Not to worry, Jan. I should have put quotes around the words as the comment was supposed to have been made by the bear to the men below!... :-)

Having been orphaned by his mother as a wee cub, Peanut had been taken in and raised by the city park squirrels. He had lived undetected in the trees for years until being spotted burying walnuts by a rather startled jogger one morning.

It's a good thing I didn't promise to climb Mt. Everest when bears would fly.

Another Friday night, and Bruno was high as a kite again. Police were on hand to carry him off to the pokey to sober up.

*Here in Colorado it's not unusual for bears to come down from the mountains into the foothills, in neighborhoods, looking for food. To escape dogs, they climb trees. I've seen many TV rescues such as this one - they relocate the bears back into the mountains.

Poor, poor bear! At least he's home and happy now! Thank goodness the police were there to catch him before he fell and hurt himself.

Jiggy... when you say he was fixed, do you mean that the Vet treated him, or do you mean that the Vet neutered him? The second could come as quite a shock to the young man!

The US Park Service is working on it's newest technology to prevent forest fires.... The Smoky Bear spy plane! When he sees a camp fire, he shouts down from the heavens ''Only YOU can prevent forest fires!''.

Earlier this afternoon, the police were called when Bobby the ballon vendor discovered that the hose to his helium tank had holes in it, apparently made by an animal with huge teeth and powerful jaws. A short while later, they were able to arrest the culprit as he slowly drifted to the ground.....

Unable to get Boris to leave the park, the police decided to confiscate his trampoline in 3..2..1

Jill, the bear was stuck up a tree and couldn't come down, something was wrong with him. They tranquilized him and he landed safely on the mat. Was taken to the vets and fixed and then let go. So, in this case, it was a good thing. I'm sorry I worried you!

Do,you guys know that there's a group out there trying to ban Circus bears and these potentially harmful stunts?!
