Don't tell anyone Sandy, but I always thought an Oak is 'n Oak. I did not know there are different kinds. Maybe because we have just one kind, I really don't know. And our Oaks have this leaves. Beautiful photo Sandy.

There are so many kinds of oaks. Some down here I have never seen before. The leaves don't even look like oak leaves. They are long and narrow like the shingle oak. Beautiful fall leaves on them.

I'll have tu get out my leaf book one of these days.
