Thank you Dagmar, such a pleasing comment! When I lived abroad - I missed the snow too. And you can't travel to experience it? Well - I will make you a puzzle of winter scenes. PJ
A nice scene to see everyday on your wall, you are dreaming of spring and I have a snowman sitting in front of me and I am dreaming of a bit of snow first before the spring comes. By the middle of February the almond trees will already be blossoming here and then my hopes for seeing some snow this winter are melting away rather quickly. LOL The embroidery is beautitul and wonderfully done. :))
Well, you are right, that optimism is in every inch of this beauty. I love the flowers so much, too. What a fun thing to have in your house. The swirl around it is delightful, too! Thanks so much, PJ!
Wendy - thank you. The bird is part of a larger, happy spring embroidery and I was filled with optimistic hopes at the time. Some of my optimism must have guided the needle. :-)) PJ
Thank you Mandy - So nice of you to comment on the happy bird who is 'singing' daily from my wall. Yes, I do enjoy embroidery - then you have other gifts :-)) PJ
Wow - PJ, you are sharing increasingly impressive pieces of your embroidery - my stitching was never so even or so neat - unless I was using Aida fabric, with the holes!! This little bird looks like he/she was singing his/her heart out to celebrate the onset of Spring. Who wouldn't??? Thanks :~)
PJ, this is beautiful!!! Did you do the embroidery yourself? Love the background swirling colours which go so well with the embroidery. And it's a fitting puzzle for theme week. :-)
