Awful weather in U.S. Hope it'll be okay for them. [Last night we were watching races in Daytona, Fl where it was in high 30sºF.] It's a very cold and windy winter for us, with less snow so far this year. Certainly nothing like New Brunswick's where snow banks can reach over 5 feet. We've been managing okay, though always feeling the cold. The last few years we've been residing in a city environment with all those wonderful amenities: street lights, water and sewage, and even side walks. Not joking. Before that, we were living on a small peninsula surrounded by two wetlands. Marvelous view and lots of privacy, but having to contend with a well and septic tank, ditches. Certainly no street lights. The problem was a power outage eliminated the availability of water, of any kind. [During the '98 Ice Storm, we had no power for 13 days! No generators to be had.]

Can very well understand concern for the summer. That moisture is indeed needed.

There's absolutely no snow on the three ski hills within sight of Vancouver...we've broken all records for high temperatures this winter...which causes some concern for the summer. However, we have had snow in March before...which might be another shock for a tree I saw covered in white blossoms on Tuesday!
I wonder how The Girls are making out as I saw on the news today that North Carolina has freezing temperatures. A friend's daughter was driving from Mississippi to Tennessee to visit her new grandson and managed to total her car in the icy conditions. Fortunately, she was not injured but I guess they just don't expect that kind of weather that far south.
How are you holding up? Water and power fine? ❤❤❤
