They have everything from miniature golf, a gym with all sorts of weight machines, a spa, pools, hot tubs, many stores and restaurants, a theater, bars, etc. Like a city, Shirley.
Hadn't heard of the Allure of the Seas. Sounds like they are both too big for me. Was hard enough walking back and forth on the Princess. Foxy and Maria, there are lots of towns here that are way smaller. Glad to hear from you again, gnt. The one next to the Oasis of the Seas was a lot smaller and I am not sure what the name was. There were 5 others in port when we were there. Glad you are enjoying the cruise, Ank. Don't get too much sun. :)
...Allure of the Seas, together with her sister ship, Oasis of the Seas holds the record for the largest passenger ship ever constructed, although Allure is 50 millimetres (2.0 in) longer than Oasis, making her technically the largest despite the fact that both ships have identical superstructures. They were built in Finland.
They're building larger and larger cruise ships these days - we had one come into our harbor last weekend and it just about took up the length of the wharf....
