You are probably right, irwinmarlene. I was so excited about the buildings and that fence, that when I saw four hooves, a tail and the head, my first thought was horses. Your correction is well taken and appreciated. connie
Wonderful picture and the Mules fit just perfectly, think the ears are a little long for horses and imagine Mules would be more appropriate for the era and area.
Beautiful museum, 481110. The building is very appealing to someone who lived the first 5 years of her life in Appalachia, and went back to visit for many years afterward. The horses make the photo. Thanks for sharing this with us. connie
