Thanks, Karlein, for letting me play with your plant. I wasn't sure what I would do with it until I saw it all blended together. It looks like I turned that beautiful hummingbird bush into a surrealistic daisy! However, it was fun and I hope that you don't mind how it looks... I still like the actual flower better, though, myself!

The frame is art glass.

I was remiss in not posting Karlein's puzzle:

It is the inset in this puzzle. Apologies, Karlein!

Thank you so much, roerick. I am still learning too...I've only just got the PS Elements 11 for Christmas and didn't load it up on the computer until after New Year's Day. I posted the very first puzzle I made on Jan 4 (in my other profile). I did end up posting at least one puzzle that I didn't think was very good (and in fact was going to delete it) when other people came in and told me that they liked it! I am sure that you will have something that you could post...just don't worry about whether you feel confident in it. People on this website are very supportive and are glad to help out! ;-D

Since I'm learning, I love that you include the original---helps me see where you went with it. I still haven't done anything I want to post yet. But I sure love what you do. Thanks.

Thanks, dasah, that is a lovely compliment to me!

Well, thank you for letting me "borrow" your gorgeous photograph, Karlein! The inset of the original has accidentally become my "signature" style...I have been doing it for all the them. People told me that they like seeing my starting point so I now make a point of trying to include it (the earliest ones didn't have it). I never quite know what the combination of frames will look like!I do these all "long hand" - I don't have a kaleidoscope filter or app or whatever -but that allows me to control the process too. At this early stage of learning to use Photoshop Elements (11) , it's probably better for me re understanding how to work with layers, etc. I'm flattered that you think that it's a work of art! (Hubby thought it looked like a giant sunflower! LOL)

Bonnie thanks Gringo very much and sends dogs sniffs and kisses back (she's gentle with little ones). We are thrilled that she made it to her 14th...we never thought that she would hang in there with us for this long. We feel so blessed!

kittenlove, you have been very supportive. Thank you for appreciating this too!

Pretty flower burst.......realy great from the artistic side.

BTW...GRINGO SENDS A BIRTHDAY WISH TO BONNIE FOR YESTERDAY.

NO WORRIES dasah:-) I WOULD HAVE TO SAY MICHELLE THIS IS INTRIGUING. ESPECIALLY ADDING THE INSET. AS dasah SAYS ..A WORK OF ART, BUT I NEVER MADE THE LEADERBOARD.

Thanks Karlein, I prefer the caleidoscope image, nice piece of art!
