Thanks jcarroll.
Hi mpilnadyful ! I'm glad you know this area. You are right about the weather. The winters here can be quite dismal. A trek to Vancouver .... hummm? Is that a virtual trek or a real trek?
That whole area from Mt Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula, Victoria, Seattle up through and beyond Vancouver - so Stunningly Beautiful. I lived in Seattle for a year - loved summer - spring and fall had their beauty but I did have trouble with winter. The rest of the year more than makes up for it though. Your experiences being there sound wonderful. Thanks for sharing it. Maybe next summer we should all make a jigidi trek to Vancouver.
Hi lyndee. Yes, you can see two seabuses in the picture. The closer one is leaving North Van and the one in front of Canada Place is heading this way. To the right of Canada Place is the Convention Centre. It has a green (brown!) roof so it is basically glass and grass!
It takes the seabus 12 minutes to cross Burrard Inlet. They are scheduled to connect with the north shore buses. My bus ticket gets me to Lonsdale Quay, across on the seabus and then on a bus or the skytrain in Vancouver.
