I'm so sorry about your foot. I had to wear a boot for about 3 months several years ago, and I did get tired of it. I have a cane from after knee surgery and I'm keeping it just in case, but I hope I won't ever need it again! Get well soon!
Aren't those boots just the height of fashion? I had to find a pair of shoes (one of a pair) that was the same height as my boot so that I didn't list one way or the other, when upright. And you want to keep that cane - never can tell when the urge to trip someone might come upon you. Take care, Kate
Thanks for the thanks, PH.
I AM taking care of myself, PH. Being such a good girl. Wearing my "boot" and using my cane! I resisted the cane for weeks but finally gave in. It's good for tripping other people and for threatening to bash the impudent. I don't even feel sorry for myself anymore! :)))
Thanks - I've had an opportunity to become "Aware" of Down Syndrome and it's been a extremely loving and educational experience. In San Diego, the DS Buddy Walk is on Saturday, Oct 15 at the Organ Pavillion in Balboa Park. The event starts at 9am but there's so much to do in addition to the Walk. Come out and join us.
