robryan, they are metal. Have been to Solomons a number of times. Where were you? Vanuatu - just the airport on the way to other places and the G. B. Reef only for 1 day. Saw turtles mating on the surface in Indonesia -they didn't care at all that our boat was near them. Love conquers all I guess.

Are these wood carvings snooker? They look nice - we've seen a few in the water on holidays too. Solomon Islands, Vanuatu & the Great Barrier Reef at a couple of different islands.

Nice snooker. When we scattered my Dad's ashes from the Bahia Honda bridge in the Keys, a sea turtle surfaced. What a sight!
