Lots of lakes morris! I went to Rend Lake this morning to take pics. I will post some tomorrow.

Sounds very nice. Just looked at a map, looks like there are quite a few little lakes in that area.

They are morris. Especially on Interstate 24 near Vienna. The highway cuts through it and it is a long stretch.

None! Farther south near the forest, there are sandstone cliffs and some shale, but nothing like beautiful rounded field stone that is so abundant up north..

Yes it does morris. The prettier landscapes start around Effingham on south.

Hi punkie. There is a lot of flat farm land in northern Illinois. Down here there is some farm land, but it is rolling and hilly with a lot of tree lines and woods. When you and morris deliver those rocks and bricks, you will get a better idea of what it's like. LOL

Chickie -is most of the land around you farm land? I am always amazed driving across the country and seeing how vast the farms are.

Color report from the north part of the state. There is still a lot of color left, One good thing is that the trees do not all peak at the same time.
There should still be some left by the 29th, down by you!
