We never thought to look for the cranberries, snooker. It was a spur of the moment adventure, and we had no clue what to expect. We did a lot of walking once on shore-before finding the "golf cart taxi".

LOL, florrie. The weather forecast is looking an awful lot like rain for Saturday. I have tried for 3 years to go to the silly festival....and each time, it's rained. I still have half a mind to put on my rain gear and go anyways! I even have a "raincoat" for my camera. :)

oooo.....Sally.......so sorry....no cranberry bog THIS trip. :( A cranberry festival is on our list (weather permitting) this upcoming weekend. I will take lots of pictures for you!
After your recent adventure, I knew you'd enjoy another ferry ride, Ardy. We had never done any of the islands off the coast, so this was the year to do that.

Actually, they got their name for the cranberries grown on the islands, Louisee.

Great, do they grow cranberries on that island. Am coming for sure.
