Thanks for the information and what a pity that some have had to go out of business for reasons stated. It must be hard for some of the farmers and dairy farmers to keep going when things get so difficult for them. It is so sad.
Dept of Agriculture requires a building to store milk in that's separate from the cow barn. Many of the farms around here have these add-on structures. This farm is still an active dairy farm. Many have gone out of business because of continuous government regulation and the price of corn (feed) going up due to it being used to produce gasoline additives.
What a huge old barn. Looks as though they may have added to it over the years. At least they didn't let it fall apart. Thanks for sharing.
