My paternal grandmother was an artist and poet. This is a "clock" she made for me when I was six. It's a plate painted gold with found stones and sand glued to it.

Yes. Especially since I only saw her a few times in my whole life. She lived in Mahopac, New York. I have a photo of her and my grandfather in their wedding clothes uploaded her on Jigidi. She hated travel and we lived all over the place, usually thousands of miles away. So, though we kept in touch religiously via the phone and letters, we just never got to see my paternal family very often in person.
