Dear Not Luke, I'm so glad you found the island - it isn't easy. It always excites me to see them because in the summer there is so much Pacific 'haze' that they are rarely visible to me. Ahhhh, Autumn in San Diego.
And you're absolutely right, the Big Whites are so much like Great Whites without teeth, but a lot fluffier and rainny!?!?! I love looking at clouds and seeing people, animals, cartoons, places, funny things and big things and . . . (I got a raindrop in my eye).
I found them, milady!
I like the Big Whites. Like Great Whites without any teeth!
If you completed the puzzle and got out a strong magnifying glass, you might see a small dark blue pyramid just through the edge fo the trees on the left. That's one of the Los Coronados islands about 25 miles south of the San Diego coast. The islands are part of Mexican territory. On the right is a gray sliver of San Diego Bay under our Autumn rain.
