PICTURE UPDATE IN PROGRESS . . . PLEASE HANG ON TO YOUR GUESSES WHILE I UPLOAD THE NEXT PICTURE IN THIS GAME . . . :D)

I'd forgotten that HeidiH . . . :-)
Serena was played by Elizabeth Montgomery in a dark wig 'lajuin' . . . :-)

stacker

Heidi guessed Jackie but how about Rose Kennedy?

BarbH

Hmmm... maybe I'll go with Alice Ghostley.

lajuin

Whoever played SERENA in Bewitched.

Heidihopes

Actually froggie, I did watch that show and remember the cook! But I did not know that they were sisters so thanks! I remember Hermione mostly from the Little House on the Prairie series.

sag1220

Esther Williams

Trouble_and_Frog

Phew . . . that's better, I feel more like myself again . . . ;-)

I remember Hermione Baddeley HeidiH but we probably saw a lot more of her over here with being a Brit. Did you get the TV series 'Upstairs Downstairs' (circa 70s) in the States? If so you may remember the cook, 'Mrs Bridges' . . . that was her sister Angela Baddeley. I bet you really needed to know that . . . lol

No correct answer yet and I am about to close down for the night so Night night and I'll catch you tomorrow . . . :-)

Heidihopes

Hermione Baddeley?

Ok, I am probably the only person who knows who that is. I better just give up.....

troubleatmill

Aaaargh!!! I just saw my reflection (yes . . . I do have one Gail . . . lol) and I'm not me . . . please excuse me signing in with the wrong head.

So sorry BarbH . . . all that effort with no reward . . . lol. In saying that you are getting closer to the answer so you may still get there . . . ;-)

I can think of one name that hasn't been mentioned yet Barb but if I told you it would give the game away . . . :-)

tigress

I think Ms Froggy may be headed to another win (unless someone has already guessed the correct answer). I can't think of anyone who hasn't already been mentioned. :-)

Heidihopes

Jackie Kennedy?

BarbH

Marion Lorne

I knew I'd think of her if I stopped thinking of her (LOL, you know what I mean). It wasn't a movie, it was the TV show, Bewitched, and she played the daffy Aunt Clara. Now that I have figured it out, I'm probably wrong. But it sure looks like her. And rats, I just checked the list and guess who's on it.

BarbH

I can see this woman in a movie clip, 60's or 70's, maybe Disney, kind of stuttering her lines because she is surprised, but I can't think of her name or the movie. Arg!!!

iri88

Dame Joan Sutherland.

myladydanes

Olivia De Havilland??

octomom

Betty Ford's a great guess. The hair color is not quite right, but that devilish T&F is capable of anything. Try doing a Google Images on Betty Ford, and most of the photos are of Lindsay Lohan attending the Betty Ford Clinic. Oh well...

petslave

Looks like Betty Ford

sag1220

Fannie Flagg

Heidihopes

Doris Day?
(going off the clue only)

myladydanes

Jessie Royce??
Jeanne Crain??

Heidihopes

Joan Crawford?
Doesn't fit the clue I know but I can't think of anyone right now with that

grandmalucy

I'm looking at all the pearls and thinking barbara bush or laura bush.

Trouble_and_Frog

Love your train of thought there SHeidi an exceptionally good link . . . I am amazed at your genius . . . okay, hands up, it almost was Ms Weld for that very reason . . . lol

Thank you Pat . . . I take your comment about giving old Walt a shave as a great compliment . . . I have removed spectacles before (Sarah Palin) and I remember giving someone specs some time back (can't for the life of me think who it was) but haven't done either in this case. However, I will admit to having 'doctored' the original image as I couldn't find a decent colour photo . . . :-)

Finally, in the words of Dame Edna . . . "Farewell Possums" . . . lol

INCORRECT ANWERS . . . and and even though it still looks like Margaret Thatcher it is still NOT her, nor is it anyone portraying her . . . lol
