Yes, Mickey Mouse is their favourite food!! Jacques I have never seen a shark in here. Just outside the channel behind me they swim around if fishermen clean fish. There has never been an attack and we used to swim at night after a few rums.
You're welcome Nova, thank you. Yes it is, thanks EF. You're welcome, glad you see them yellow, thanks. Sure is bookish, thanks. Hi Jacques, you're back, thanks.
I found your very nice comment on my puzzle a few minutes ago. And I left one for you back there, too.
One day I should pay those beautiful Bermuda islands another visit. You have some great pictures, and I need to get work some of them soon. Just as soon as I get dishwasher fixed, my toilet replaced and my garage door opener replaced. It just doesn't pay to travel sometimes. I always wonder why things have to break down after they have had a rest!
You're welcome PLG, thanks. We do bloorox, thanks. It certainly is Hanne, thanks. It does PKH, thanks. Come on down PK, thanks. Thank you pinkie, the water is beautiful, no doubt about it.
Thanks JC, yes I am taking the picture from the channel leading out to Castle Harbour Bay. Hi JJ, you are welcome, glad you enjoyed it, thanks. You can snorkel TC but to see the actual cave and passage ways you need scuba gear and know what you are doing, thanks. Thanks Celeste. As far as I can remember BJ it runs for the most part underwater. I am quite sure there are air pockets but in crevices leading up into the ground. The scientist who explored said there was not a lot of room exploring the chambers. Thanks. No problem Dagmar, you can swim there and the snappers are friendly. Thanks. You're welcome chickie, the water is always clear because of the flow from underground as well as the regular tide. Thanks. It sure is Graci, thanks. Thanks Shirley.
What a marvellous place, I would be content with a bit of swimming. It must be wonderful to float there in the water. I had to look twice but I managed to see the snappers, they look quite big but I suppose they wouldn't mind me having a little swim. :))
This is the cave I was talking about the other day that goes down 60 feet then branches out underneath. It is crystal clear and home to many Grey Snappers, lobsters and other fish. If you look closely in the left foreground you can see the faint shapes of a school of Grey Snappers. If I row over without a camera they will appear everywhere and up close. If I go with a camera like here they hang below and away from the boat. Very smart fish! The rock is all very hard limestone and was formed by a volcano long before I was born!!!!
