I manipulated this one from a photo I took of my own double white impatiens in our garden (in the inset photo). I played around and enhanced in trying to get the movement of the ringing bell. The frame is art glass on which I have changed the values.

Hope that you enjoy it, ringleader, Ma'am!

I'm Michelle, btw, PJ.

I just replied in the other puzzle asking you your name... hello, PJ! I do seem to work with a lot of flowers to start...probably because I've taken a lot of photos of flowers. I am glad that you appreciate this, I didn't quite know how I was going to achieve any kind of motion effect for our resident bell ringer but it looks like people did understand (especially Ardy!) that that was what I was aiming for!

You flatter me with your enthusiasm, PJ, thank you! It looks like I'll have to reward it too!! (although I never know where my imagination will take me at any particular time...I can't seem to make one to order!)

This is fabulous, marvelous. The effects you've worked to achieve are stunning. I even love the colors!

LOL...sounds familiar!!

If you only knew how I've been learning this program! Haven't yet read half of the book nor have I perused any tutorials. Lack of time - I want to play with Elements and create ...learning along the way.

Dang...and I've been doing it the hard way! Thanks Francine...I should have asked you earlier!

Whatever works. One day at a time.
...In case you're interested: In Elements, 'Image' / Rotate / ... focus on bottom half only ... that will effect change only on that particular layer.

Thanks, Francine... I worked on this for a while trying to achieve it. I had to hand cut out the ringer (since the cookie cutter I had was only unidirectional) and copy over the bell image to new (transparent) drawings to do a paste and smudge, etc. several times before I brought them back. I didn't know an easier way to do it...yet! ;-D

Good motion.

I am glad that you liked it Ardy! I was hoping that you would see the ringing motion, too. I wasn't sure how I was going to achieve it but I fiddled and played and there you go... I'm stuck posting in the afternoon now. Once you don't get it right one day, you're stuck unless you want to make the decision not to post until the following morning. I may end up using that when I have to be out and about. Thanks for the hugs and I return them! (Kirsten's turn is coming up... in a couple of days, I think...so many in the queue right now! LOL)

Michelle, It's gorgeous. I LOVE it. I see the ringing motions. Wow. You are very clever and I'm very excited with it. I did check your profile this morning but before you posted. Kirsten found this and alerted me. Thank you so very much. Big ((HUGS))
