I don't know the name of this succulent - but the leaves have red edges, and the flowers are about 1/2" across.

:))) Thanks Chrissie - nothing worse than a jaded jade:)))

HA! That explains a lot Shirley - this is in the side garden :)))))) I've obviously got it in the wrong place!!!! Thanks!!

Thanks Beekay - I guess they like our dry conditions!!!

Thanks Floyd!!

Thanks Suzy - it is a sweet flower!

pumpkinhead

What unique flowers, Rob! Love the star like look and the pistals (?) sticking out like jewels.

Gladstone

Beautiful flower.
Thanks Rob.

Beekay

Wow, I didn't know they flowered. Great photo Rob!!

Shian2

I have a jade plant like this one, and I don't believe I've every seen it flower, pretty flowers, Thanks Rob. I've heard it said that if you have one at the front and back door you'll always have money in the house, no mention of how much money :)))

foxymoron

A Jade that decidedly does not look jaded :-)

Tip top photograph, Rob. Ya done good!

robryan

Thanks Barb - this one flowers quite a lot, and grows easily too, so maybe they like my 'tough love' gardening technique :)))) Both Toyomi & I have the same plant, and only in this colour!!

Thanks Nev :)))) ....bow...:))))

Thanks roseh - it's nice to see you drop by to comment!!!

roseh

Beautiful flower, and a great photo.

Joyfulli is right, Rob. Your plant is Crassula ovata or a jade plant. If you google and then click on Images, you will see hundreds of photos of different leaf shapes, colors, sizes, variegated in yellow or white. Jades do not flower eagerly so you are lucky that your is in flower. Very nice and thank you for sharing :)

robryan

Thanks Janet!!

jan42ful

Very pretty, thanks, Rob. I have this succulent but it's not flowering now. Hugs, janet.

robryan

Thanks Patti!!

Why - thank you Li:)))) I've heard the names before!!! My neighbour has a Jade plant and it has smaller leaves, so I think it must be a different plant! These ones grow very easily from a single leaf or stem and tolerate our hot dry conditions well!! Thanks!!

joyfulli

I've never seen this before, and it's beautiful, Robyn. I found it!! It's called Crassula ovata, commonly known as jade plant, friendship tree, lucky plant, or money tree and is a succulent plant with small pink or white flowers.
