No, very little of the snow has melted, as temperatures have been in the 10's and 20's. And Friday night we received another 2" of snow. And tonight, the forecast is for another 6-12" of snow; schools all over New England have already canceled classes for tomorrow. We've already definitely had enough winter for the year - kevin

I would think it's their normal closing day along with Sunday so trade 5 days a week. Looks like the business is attached to their home. I've been to Matfield and it's one of the prettiest villages in Kent. Thanks kevin...Sue
ps has the snow gone?

Having been a butcher's shop since the 1800's, this looks quite a large and prosperous shop. I noted on their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/markandsonsbutcher/info?tab=overview) that they are closed till this coming Tuesday. Is Monday an English holiday, or are butcher's shops traditionally closed on Mondays in England?
Thanks, Sue - kevin
