Thank you Cevas, The Lizard is the name of the peninsula, and Lizard Point where the lighthouse is located, is the most southerly part of Britain.

Waxwing, I hope the weather was a bit kinder to you in May than it was for us in September, though the day we were at The Lizard was actually the best day of the week!
