Yes, RH -- it's always interesting. Hard to tell with this one. There doesn't seems to be anything on either end. Unless it could have been for logging long ago, since there are woods on both sides. ???
It would be interesting to know what the original purpose for this bridge was. Sometimes in road building in our area, an alternative route will be built until the main project is finished.
Sometimes a bridge won't be replaced, however, because there is not enough traffic to warrant the expense.
well Patti all I can say is that has been out many many years LOL..The street I live on used to go straight through to the other side of town and then it crossed by bridge over a valley...well now you have to go around by other streets to get there because the bridge had wood to drive over and it rotted and fell into the valley LOL no bridge now for over 50 years ....
