Ooooh Major D. YOU were the one who ate it?Lady Cn please offer my apologies to you gardener for my false accusations
Major ! You ate the pigeon ? Apologies Miss Trouble & Frog - the pigeon must not have been on my estate after all.Yes Starlord, I slept well thank you.
sorry T&F, as an ex-army man I thought it was part of the enemy's communication system so I ate it
Indeed, past tense, Froggy.Lady C's garderer is fond of pigeon :-)Good morning Lady C. Trust you had a good night sleep :-)
Oh it is midnight, glass slipper time, goodnight Starlord, goodnight Major Don, goodnight Aggie, goodnight Trouble and Frog, goodnight goingsilver, goodnight pkin, goodnight Neville, goodnight Squishy, goodnight Denise ..........till tomorrow .......
No Miss Trouble and Frog, we have no news of your pigeon. However it will be quite safe whilst on my estate, due to varying factors ...
No . . . why? It was his first chartered flight. I'm not sure I like you referring to him in the past tense . . . do you know something I don't? . . . ;D)
Was it a prize winning pigeon?
That's a relief Lady C . . . thank you for putting my mind at rest . . . :D)
I'll let Lady C do the maths on that one, Froggy :-)@ Pk: :-)))))No need to shoot that pigeon. Vegetarians don't eat that :-)
Your pigeon is safe over my estate T&F - shooting doesn't start till 12th August.
Hello pkin :)
Good morning starlord and everyone. Would never have guessed this one.
Definitely 50 Starlord plus one for luck ( maths was never my strong subject so don't check too closely . . . lol)Hasn't that pigeon arrived yet? I do hope it managed to make it over Lady C's estate . . . I've heard her gamekeeper is partial to a bit of pigeon pie . . . ;D)
Yes but it will get filthy again in flight so best do it at the Major's place :))
Now need to send a team over, Lady C.This statue can come flying to your estate :-)
Hmm yes you are right about that, it is enormous lol - I will send over a team to dust it off so it's done properly :o)
Are you sure that was 50 times, Froggy? I'm awaiting the pigeon to make sure.Brie will surely know this alley IF it is in London :-)Major D will need loads of dusters indeed, Lady C. That statue of his is enormous :-))))
She'll probably recognise that lampost as being in a back street in Soho, London . . . ;D)
Well done Squishy, good one, and Neville, ok, I will have my housekeeper send some dusters round to Major Don's new apartment for his statue :))
. . . I must learn to express myself more clearly in futureI must learn to express myself more clearly in futureI must learn to express myself more clearly in future . . .YIPPEEEEE . . . FINISHED!!! Flying them over to you Starlord (pigeon post)Oh bother, I've missed it . . . well done Squishy . . . :D)Where's Brie to tell us the name of this alley? . . . lol
Thank you Starlord. I realised, when I zoomed in, that the guy on the right was a young Hugh Cornwell.
Way to go, Squish... Another X behind your name. A well deserved statue is still waiting for you to be revealed :-)One never knows with a former army man, Major D. Better safe than sorry :-)I only know one of their hits, Neville. And that is Golden Brownhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWAsI3U2EaE
Congratulations, MajorDon for picking The Stranglers initially. Guess you'll have to borrow lady charnley's duster to spruce up your own statue. The Stranglers had three hits here in Oz - Peaches (No.32, Jan. '78) which is unknown to me. Golden Brown got to No.8 in March of 1982 & a very well-known Skin Deep got to No.12 in January '85.
Oh - I wasn't suggesting an ice pick to make your ears burn! It was a lyric about Trotskymy apologies if you thought I was going to attack you!!!lol
Your right star - because the coffee did it - don't need to search. I think it's the Stranglers (?)
I didn't get the Shakespearos clue :-(Just thought: never heard of them :-)
14 hits in the UK - and they even did a Dionne Warwick cover. So you wouldn't get my Shakespearos clue then? They were punk when they started
I only know one actually :-)But that gave them a golden record, I think :-)
they had lots Starlord - very popular and a best hits album
One coffee will surely do Squish...Just think mid seventies... They may have had more hits, but I only know one from early 80's
Morning all! No idea who this is, but they look more recent than our usual offering, Starlord.Need a coffee before I start searching...
The colour guys from the image I deleted were the main characters of an American sitcom called 'Big Time Rush'... so they 'rushed away'.My mistake it was. Have to go to bed earlier as I'm still sleepy :-)
lol Neville - I had just commented 'did they have colour in 1967?' and the image had gone when I refreshed!
Yes, Major, I saw the colourful boy band too. Then the other photo came up. Thought my computer was back to playing tricks again.
Morning all... Sorry, my little matey needed to go outside urgently, so I posted and went AFK.lol, indeed, there was another image at first. When I double checked it was some unknown band (to me). But I had another image of the band I had in mind and this one is it.Thanks Don, for holding the fort for me. Don did send me the correct answer in PM, and he's so kind to let the 'Wreath of Victory' to someone else
Lady C and I started to solve a colour photo of a boy band (no idea by the way) from Starlord and when I refreshed the page, it turned to black and white and it was these chappies
sorry no goingsilver :)
is it The Move?
no Neville - good morning to you....not sure where Starlord is :)
Good morning starlord, lady c, MajorDon & others. Is it the Stone Roses?
is it anything to do with Shakespearos? What happened to my heroes?
Well good morning again :(((
