Thank you, Your Oddness... How's Walter? Has he mellowed any lately??? :) :)
You are so welcome, Mimi.... :) :)
Great puzzle! Thanks my dear!
Shirley, do you suppose we could convince Jill there's such a thing as cross stitch Legos... She is a little one-eyed when it comes to her Legos... Glad you liked the background... It was Chrissie's suggestion... Worked out very well.... :) :)
Great idea, Sally, I can also see this as a beautiful cross stitch, love the shaded background too, Thanks Sally :):)
Well, Good Buddy, I can't imagine why all you see is Legos.... Just because you have a dedicated Lego room, with floor to ceiling Lego builds... That could be a small part of your fixation.... Thanks for having fun with it.... Oh, yes, the blue was rather nice.... Rather a Royal shade... :) :)
Beautiful image on beautiful blue! This was a fun solve, L. I wish I could see cross stitch but all I see are Legos. Thanks for the fun, dear one!
Thanks, Patti.... Cross stitch it is... :) :)
I thought of cross stitch too! Love it!
I tried wrapping it within an enigma, but it wouldn't fit.... Too many squares.... :) :)
Thanks so much, for the 'classy'... Big smile here.... I'm pretty sure they'll be at least one more, before I try to get too complicated and pull my hair out counting all the little squares.... Hugs to you and Charlie and The Bandit.... :) :)
Thank you, PJ... There are some pretty and tricky patterns in cross stitch that might work well for grid paper puzzles.... So pleased you liked my first attempt.... :) :)
Judy, I too have had the grid patterning in the back of my mind for some time... The first attempt was just colored squared (with beveling, of course)... Finding the right pattern was a challenge... And it did take several hours... Was so much fun, I will probably try another.... Please jump right in and make some too... It's an idea everyone can use... Good fun to see all the different creative ways to do a grid pattern.... :) :)
Thank you, dear Whattie.... The dark to light background was suggested by foxy.... Every once in a while we collaborate on puzzle colours... And the fun back and forth of 'which looks better... This or this'... Hard on the eyes sometimes, especially with the twirly ones... Nice to get another opinion before going public.... :) :)
A puzzle within a puzzle. Very creative, Sally!
Classy one, Sally. Will wait for more like this beauty.
Great fun puzzle, Sally - and I like the design. Just like Judy, I thought of cross stich patterns....PJ
Sally, this is such a clever idea. It reminds me somewhat of my cross-stitch patterns of long ago. They were always on a grid, and some squares were filled with the color to be used. Great fun. I loved this one, and noticed you've got a lot of 3D going on yourself! I loved the background color; just right for the rest of the puzzle design. I've thought of doing the same kind of thing but never got around to it. I'll leave it up to you; so please make more!! We are eager to see your next grid creation!
Wow, making the flower in 3D really changes this up. I like the dark to light background as well.
Thanks, Barb... So nice to hear you find this one unique... I may just try another... Glad you enjoyed it.... :) :)
What a lovely and unique puzzle! Love the colours and really enjoyed solving. Thanks from Barb. :-)
