That's a magnificent picture Dave, love the bench, planter and gorgeous flowers, We have a children's clothing store The Pumpkin Patch here in Australia, very popular.

That business is really an interesting one, and nicely named for PKH who has worked with students: http://www.thepumpkinpatchames.com/

Great picture Dave. I like the way the colors in the bench and the flowers in the large pot are color co-ordinadated. Looking forward to further adventurers.

robryan

Perfect comment, Suzy!

I hadn't thought of the bench design as a puzzle, roseheather-it coulda been done.

If it was photo-shopped, Beekay, it would have said pumpkinhead patch. :)) There might be something we could do with that with Halloween coming up....

Beekay

Well, all I can say is the photo Gods were smiling on you that day....or you photo-shopped somehow ;-)

roseheather

Oh, my. What a delightful design on this bench.

It could be a puzzle in itself. ; )

Someone else who posts frequently, Schutkleur, has many potted plants on her balconies. She lives in the Netherlands. She has trees and shrubs. She posted pictures of her plum, pear, and apple tree earlier in August. This shows her plum tree: http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=D7SQMBK8

At Michigan State University, there are a number of plants in tubs that the horticulture students roll outside in the summer then into a conservatory of sorts for the winter. I was amazed to see a tree that was lantana. I should say were, I saw these at least 6 years ago.

pumpkinhead

Perfect bench. Perfect pot of flowers. Perfect sign. And perfect trails in Maine.
:)

warbler

I wondered if it might be that, too, Sandy. I think were right unless its some new cultivar.

chickiemama

I just can't believe how beautiful that hydrangea is IN A POT no less! It sure looks like it could be 'Lime Light'.

Beekay

GrandmaJoJo
