I looked it up:
Blue Malayan Coral Snake, Maticora bivirgata
This beautiful fella is no toy. Armed with highly venomous neurotoxic venom in its two front teeth. This guy could happily send any potential victim to heaven with a single dose of its deadly cocktail syrup. It lives in primary forest floors, but can also be found in mature secondary forest. Usually active after sundown and looks for its favorite food...snakes even of its own kind!, It may sometimes be encountered stretched across forest trails in the early morning.
I nearly step onto this fella while going in search of insects in the forest. Though have heard of this notorious guy before, this is the very first time that I came close and personal with him. My first expression was Holy cow! this damn thing is f....beautiful!!
I think he was a little confused and dashing among the dead leaves not sure of its direction. I just can't control myself for not touching him, I ran my finger across its glorious back, he immediately turned around and gave me a nasty stare! probably trying to tell me that he had a Venom Airways first class-one way ticket to heaven, are you interested?
Shortly afterwards, I was glad that he had his gps functioning again and soon disappeared into the forest floor. What an encounter......
Wow. Gorgeous! How can something so scary be so beautiful? Do you know where these guys live?
