Even though I took 4 semesters of Russian, the naughtiest word I know is for "mechanized hydroelectric power station", which at least sounds bad to English speakers! LOL! Thanks, PJ, Edie, and Rosie! :-)))
I'm not going to add anything. I'm just going to solve the puzzle and say to Pat "thanks for another wonderful and fun set of puzzles". All you naughty people!!! Rosie
My husband is Chinese, but all I know is Gung Hey Fat Choy, say that to his mother and I get a red envelope at New Years with lucky money in it.
Pat - such a fun variant and I like the idea of filling in the blanks. I'm no good in Chinese, but I know some 'wrong' words in French......PJ
Sorry about all the yakking, Katie! Thanks, Ardy and Katie--we are a communicative lot on Jigidi, so this design seemed a natural! :-)))
Yup! LOL! Now how did I know? :-DDD
??? ta1 ma1 de3 I just Googled the word I'm guessing you found, Wendy--let's see, after I refresh it...
Why on earth would you want to do that, Wendy? I'd so much rather see the boxes filled with things like, "Thanks, Pat, for all the fun and delightful t\puzzles you create." Sorry. Guess I'm a wet blanket here. I'll just slip awaaawwwwaaayyyy.............
Oh, gracious! All that yakking!
Well, it looked fine until I refreshed. Then a major part of the word was replaced with three question marks. Doesn't anyone on Google know Chinese? LOL
Laughing my head off! I just did a Google search with these terms "swear words in chinese." And this was the first one that came up. I have to see how it translates here. ??? ta1 ma1 de3
Of course--just remember that this isn't posted filtered, :-)))
Clever. And we can fill in the blanks? LOL
