Front yard visitor

They seem to be very hardy in the wintertime Janet, we seem to see them just as often as when the better weather is around...

I love how his ears are changing first Marian. I guess you are used to all the autumn changes now but it must have been very strange when you first lived in Canada. He looks beautiful and I hope he and his friends survive the winter. Thanks and hugs.

Hi Donna...the rabbits and hares are changing colours and turning white which indicates winter is on its way...might make it harder for the coyotes to catch them when they blend into the snow so well. I hope all is well with you today...I am doing well, fingers crossed...

Oh, this is so cute, Marian. I do hope the Coyotes do not catch the bunnies. I know everything has to eat but I always turn my head when I see animals on TV about to kill another animal. And, you are having some snow too. Wow!!! We still have some nice Fall colors around but it rained real hard last night and a lot of leaves were knocked off the trees. Fall just doesn't last long enough. :-((( Thanks for sharing this sweet picture and hugs for the day, my friend.

Hi Pat....we have a lot of Hares and a couple of Jack Rabbits constantly running around, one hare has made itself a lovely little dug out nest and sits there a lot, it's right outside my window. A lot of activity at night too, however lately we have seen a coyote at night and he is hunting the rabbits. It is starting to snow now and I see the Hare is in his dug out under the tree...

Very cute. I now have two bunnies that come on my patio every evening, just before dusk,
and now in the morning, but those darn squirrels steal all the food. My dog hates the
squirrels, but will sit and watch the bunnies eat. Seeing all the leaves makes me think
what is coming. TFS..
