Oh I'm sure it hasn't been boring just judging from what you're doing now - your ships are awesome and the lifeboat project has taken on a life of its own ! If I remember correctly, you're retired now so get out there and make some waves, lol.

SawdustDave

Must admit, my life has been party ye boring, by comparison.

Rainiqui

Thanks very much Dave ~ I'm about as far from "normal" as east is from west. I've had a number of near death experiences. Just one of those will give you a whole different perspective on life. We take too much for granted. None of us know the number of our days so we have to find joy and amusement wherever we can !

SawdustDave

Really love this beautiful pattern Rainiqui. Also enjoyed the story about your college days. Sounds like you were/are a real fun person to know.

Rainiqui

That's a great story Olya ~ You're my kind of girl !!!

Rainiqui

Oh Janet ~ I remember seeing my grandma's bunions and wondering if I'd get them too when I was her age. Ironically, my feet were the only parts of me that aged gracefully - they look the same as when I was a teenager. I can't really wear heels now because I've had balance problems for the past 25 years. Too bad - my husband is 6'7" and I'm only 5'5" so I'd be able to do it easily, lol.

Olya

I went to a very small, very conservative private college. When I bought a leather jacket and started wearing black, half the school stopped talking to me... Of course, I also wore a dog collar on commencement day, which probably did NOT endear me to my fellow graduating seniors.. Good times :)

GoldenCat

Thanks for a lovely puzzle - bit slow, but nice to do! Sorry to hear you are still under the weather - maybe it's your misspent youth catching up with you!! I know mine is, I have bunions now - all those years of hammering around in high heels has finally reduced me to flatties - ugh! Cheers, Janet

I preferred playing with guys who were drinking. I thought if anybody was stupid enough to get inebriated, they deserved to have their money taken from them. Back in those days women didn't shoot pool so the guys would think that I didn't know what I was doing, lol. Sometimes just for the hell of it, I'd stack the decks of cards too. You're only young once !

Olya

sounds like you had WAY more fun with higher education than I did!

Rainiqui

I know eh ? I'm just one hot mess of pathogens.

I used to shoot pool and play cards when I was in college and university. It really helped with my tuition costs, LOL !

Olya

I am sorry to hear that you got a secondary infection, Raini! Being sick sucks :(

I used to make my T-81 Graphing Calculator draw pretty flowers when I was in college... Fun times :)

Rainiqui

I didn't use a spirograph filter to make these because the outcomes were too primitive. These are the result of painstakingly tweaking mathematical formulae. I loved the spirograph I had as a kid though !

Rainiqui

Hi Olya ~ I've developed a secondary infection from my damn antibiotics (which I am not finished yet). I can't stop taking them because this pneumonia was so persistent. We've decided to cut the dosage in half until the scrip is finished so I'll still be taking these for another week. The pharmacy just delivered more drugs to help with the secondary infection. Oh joy, oh bliss....

Rainiqui

Thanks very much Barbara ~ I went through a zillion colours to find the best combinations that would really pop, lol.

Olya

You had fun with the Spirograph, didn't you? :)

Olya

Hope you are feeling better, Raini!

BarbaraL

I love these, they look so good on the black background, Thank you.
