I am guessing that the camp was about a mile from the school, because I turned around there. The road dead ends at the camp.

I remember a campground on the lake. I also remember an old welding shop across from the school. Not sure how far the campground/park was from the school. Maybe my brother remembers.

I did not take the time to walk into the woods to see if there were any remains of an old building. But I was at Kenwood and 196th. They are building a big house on the other side of 196th. Do you remember a camp Kenwood, chickie?
