This little bird, actually more than one, have been coming to our feeder since August. They are red-breasted nuthatches. They are so small and dart in and out. They have also been frequent visitors to the suet cakes also, and they chase the larger white-breasted nuthatch off, if it is on the feeder at the same time. ; )
Thank U all so much for the comments I really appreciate all of them very much..it is my pleasure to share all of the puzzles I post....Thank You Again.....Gene
Had one of these try to fly through my house, windows on west and east...so I drew a picture of it so I could identify it...nice to know their type. Red breasted Nuthatch. Thanks.
Red breasted Nuthatch. Had a pair of them at my suet cage all winter long. Loved watching them come down the tree branches upside down. Great painting and isn't this a new artist to our collection, Gene? Enjoyed the set today as always.
